This, first hint of the week is about KeePass Portable. Do you also have to remember several passwords and are your passwords also becoming more complicated due to security concerns? Then perhaps KeePass is exactly right for you. KeePass is an open source project to store and manage passwords. You only need one master password or a password file and you will have access to your passwords. KeePass stores passwords for websites, applications, W-Lannetworks etc. With the built-in macro tool, passwords will be filled on Web pages with just one click automatically or simply saved into the clipboard, to paste them to any place. The Tip: Get KeePass Portable from PortableApps.com and install it on your USB-Stick/Handy or similar storage medium. Now you can access your passwords from any PC. I recommend looking at the other PortableApps or install the PortableApps suite on your storage device to be fully mobile with e-mail, browser, Office and more. Greetings, Pascal Kühne |
