Hello, the latest version of PPlayer is now over one year old and many things have changed. Thus some changes were necessary to PPlayer. Due to the constant problems and the limited ability of the Windows Media Player I have rewritten all media functions within the next version and now use the VLC ActiveX Object to play media. This allows you to play music in various formats, proper playback of streams and allows e.g video playback, and more. The new version is also compatible with Windows 7 and, as announced, PPlayer, except the Updater-Plugin, will not connect the php-Backend in order to improve the performance and to solve some problems. PPlayer may need to be reinstalled as a new version of SQLite is being used and the database may not be 100% compatible. I'll inform you if its necesarry at the release.
